His family was going through financial crisis so he used to teach dancing in schools to help his family financially and look after their basic needs. His teaching at school at a young age, participating in dance events and competition, interest at dancing, all these things were taking him closer to dancing only. His dream came true when at a dance competition, actor Salman Khan saw his performance and was so impressed that he offered him a song for his next movie. He started dancing at a very young age of 8. In the beginning dancing was his hobby only and he had no plans of making it as his profession as well. But due to his financial condition, he started teaching dance at school Thakur Public School, Kandivali from 2001 to 2007.
In the year 2004, he formed his own dance group named Sharp Shooters. He used to participate in various solo and group dance competitions. His career’s turning point came when he was spotted by actor Salman Khan in a competition which was judged by him in a mall in Mumbai. The Dabangg actor was so impressed with his performance that he offered him to choreograph a song in his movie. As per Mudassar, Salman was a God sent man who changed his life forever and there has been no looking back for him since then.
After making his debut as a choreographer, he got the chance to choreograph lots of dance for Salman and other actors as well. In 2013, he came to limelight after he judged the dance reality show DID Season 4. He was one of the three judges on the show and was loved by the audiences for his funny and cute nature. Later, he judged many other reality shows like DID Lil Masters Season 3, Dance Singapore Dance Season 2, and DID Season 6.
