Chhoti Sardarni is an Indian Hindi television daily soap which was premiered on Colors TV in July 1 2019. It broadcasts on TV every Monday to Friday at 7.30 pm. Choti Sardarni is a show about women empowerment and shows how Meher (main female lead) fights for her child’s rights and safety. Meher Played by Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia
The main female lead in the show is played by actress cum model Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. She is 24 years old and is a lawyer, theatre artist & model by profession. The character she played is of Meher, who is a simple hearted girl with warm & kind nature. She has her own set of values and lives life at her own will. She does not afraid of expressing her feeling in front of everyone. Meher is a girl who always speaks truth and does not hide anything. In the show, she loses the father of her child who she had from her marriage. When Meher’s mother fixes her marriage with an honest & sorted person (Sarabjeet), Meher being an honest girl does not hide about her child to him.
Sarabjeet Played by Avinesh Rekhi
Sarabjeet (Husband of Meher), the male lead of the show is played by Avinesh Rekhi. He is a known face of small screen and has been part of many television shows earlier. The character of Sarabjeet that he has played is of a very calm person who is a single parent and a widower. In Choti Sardarni serial, he is shown as very supportive husband who is very encouraging and motivating towards his wife.
Param Played by Kevina Tak
The role of kid Param is played by child actor Kevina Tak. He is a firstborn child of Sarabjeet. In reality, Kevina is a girl but she has played the role of a boy in serial. Kevina hails from a Gujarati family and started working since the age of 2. Also, she was seen in Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer movie Bharat. In Colors TV’s show Choti Sardarni, she played the role of Param (boy) who is born to Sarabjeet and his first wife. But after Sarabjeet’s second marriage, Param’s grandmother (from maternal side) fights for his custody and challenges Sarabjeet in court. However, Sarabjeet and Meher do everything to keep his custody and eventually wins.
Manav Played by Hitesh Bhardwaj
Manav is played by the actor Hitesh Bhardwaj who rose to fame with television show Agar Tum Saath Ho. His character in the show is of a very kind man who loves Meher. He is very humble in nature and likes to make everyone happy. However, in the show, he died too early in young age.
Kulwant Played by Anita Raj
Kulwant is played by actress Anita Raj. She is sarpanch of her village and also mother of Meher in the show. She depicted the role of a very dominating strong headed women who is believed to be responsible for Manav’s untimely death as well.
